Cottage Burgundy
"Le Petit Cottage"
Lovingly restored to a high standard, this is a romantic, detached fully equipped character cottage in the heart of the beautiful Morvan countryside. The owner has incorporated many of the original features from the old out buildings into this comfortable gite.
"Le Petit Cottage" is situated opposite the owner's house within a walled garden, and has its own entrance. This peaceful cottage has one double bedroom, a bathroom and a small kitchen and lounge,the latter having a wood burning stove. Adjoining the cottage is a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. All towels and bed linen are provided.
The cottage is in a small rural village, close to many outdoor activities and hiking trails. Enjoy a wine tour through the Burgundy vineyards, visit one of the many historic towns or UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as Vézelay, and Abbey of Fontenay. This cottage makes the perfect base for your stay in Burgundy.
Private Garden
The large walled garden has a southerly aspect, perfect for enjoying warm summer days and long summer evenings with alfresco dining, barbecuing, sipping cocktails or reading a good novel.
One Bedroom
A cosy bedroom which sleeps two in a double bed. There are natural stone walls, a built- in closet, exposed beams and underfloor heating.
Bathroom
Enter through what used to be the old front door, now hung on a barn door rail. There is a shower, basin and toilet as well as under floor heating.
Cottage Kitchen
A small functional full equipped fitted kitchen with high ceiling,exposed beams and stone wall. It includes fridge freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave. There is a small gate-legged dining table for two.
Lounge
There is a wood burner and two comfortable chairs, a quite place to relax after a hike in the Morvan. Satellite TV, (English channels) and free Wi-fi are available.
